About...

Jim Gillanders - Lead Instructor...
Served for 13 years with the 2nd Bn Scots Guards and served in Falklands Islands (82), Northern Ireland, Cyprus, Canada and the UK - so certainly knows what it takes to be 'battle fit' and to push ones mental and physical abilities to the limit.
Jim's aim is to build trust and a good rapport with clients - whilst also injecting a bit of humour and fun into the sessions.
"I enjoy working with and training people and seeing them progress to a greater level of fitness - and if we can laugh along the way - all the better"
As an adventurous individual and marathon runner, Jim likes to do out of the ordinary crazy challenges like the Nuts Challenges and 100k walk's from London to Brighton and encourages others to do the same.
"I'm a firm believer in, don't knock it if you haven't tried it!"
So if your training for a Tough Mudder, Marathon, Mud Run or just want to get fit in the open air - then Jim will help you reach those goals.

Corrina Jelleyman - Instructor...
Corrina came to Military Workout - as a troop to regain her fitness after having a family. She runs her own business as a Therapeutic, Remedial & Sports Massage Therapist, Wellbeing Coach and Bodywork Mentor/Teacher working with a wide range of people. "Having worked in some tough sports (namely Ice-Hockey) and with people who push their bodies to the absolute limit - I always admired sports-peoples mental strength. I started Military Workout and was 'encouraged' to push the limits of what I thought I could achieve - it seemed a natural progression to train as an instructor" As an instructor Corrina doesn't stand still much, and will often run up and down the field encouraging people to keep going, do the extra rep. She believes in workout being a team effort, and loves seeing people reach their potential and surprise themselves at what they can accomplish. |

Jake Dean - Military PTI (Physical Training Instructor)
Jake is currently serving with the 1st battalion Coldstream Guards (Windsor). He has served for 3.5 years and is an All Arms Physical Training Instructor. He has been on many different exercises within the UK and knows what it takes to remain 'battle fit' as well as 'everyday fit'.
Before joining the British Army Jake was also a qualified Personal Trainer (REPS level 3) so he's able to offer that bit more knowledge and experience on a one to one basis instead of as a group if need be.
"Jake loves a physical challenge having completed numerous half marathons carrying 20kg, a 100km race in 24 hours in Belgium, 100 mile walk in 4 days in Holland, Spartan Races and cycling hundreds of miles around Portugal with the Army"
Jakes' aim on every session is to ensure everybody receives a good workout but also will try to educate everybody about their bodies, to help prevent injury, start eating healthier or enhance their chances to reaching personal goals.
If its challenging Jake will give it a go - he will never ask somebody to do something he can't.
